Universal flow equations and chaos bound saturation in 2d dilaton gravity

چکیده
A bstract We show that several features of the Jackiw-Teitelboim model are in fact universal properties two-dimensional Maxwell-dilaton gravity theories with a broad class asymptotics. These satisfy flow equation structure dimensionally reduced $$ T\overline{T} T ¯ deformation, and exhibit chaotic behavior signaled by maximal Lyapunov exponent. One consequence our results is no-go theorem for smooth flows from an asymptotically AdS 2 region to de Sitter fixed point.

2d Dilaton Gravity Made Compact
We show that the equations of motion of two-dimensional dilaton gravity conformally coupled to a scalar field can be reduced to a single non-linear second-order partial differential equation when the coordinates are chosen to coincide with the two scalar fields, the matter field f and the dilaton φ, which are present in the theory. This result may help solve and understand twoand higher-dimensi...
متن کاملSoluble models in 2d dilaton gravity
A one-parameter class of simple models of two-dimensional dilaton gravity, which can be exactly solved including back-reaction effects, is investigated at both classical and quantum levels. This family contains the RST model as a special case, and it continuously interpolates between models having a flat (Rindler) geometry and a constant curvature metric with a non-trivial dilaton field. The pr...
متن کاملQuantized 2d Dilaton Gravity and Black Holes
We have examined a modified dilaton gravity whose action is separable into the kinetic and the cosmological terms for the sake of the quantization. The black hole solutions survive even in the quantized theory, but the ADM mass of the static solution is unbounded from below. Quantum gravitational effect on the interacting matter field is also examined. e-mail: [email protected]
متن کاملGeneralized 2d dilaton gravity with matter fields
We extend the classical integrability of the CGHS model of 2d gravity [1] to a larger class of models, allowing the gravitational part of the action to depend more generally on the dilaton field and, simultaneously, adding fermion– and U(1)–gauge–fields to the scalar matter. On the other hand we provide the complete solution of the most general dilaton–dependent 2d gravity action coupled to chi...
متن کاملExtended 2d generalized dilaton gravity theories
We show that an anomaly-free description of matter in (1+1) dimensions requires a deformation of the 2d relativity principle, which introduces a non-trivial center in the 2d Poincaré algebra. Then we work out the reduced phase-space of the anomaly-free 2d relativistic particle, in order to show that it lives in a noncommutative 2d Minkowski space. Moreover, we build a Gaussian wave packet to sh...
